With March comes Mothers Day & we say hello to Spring

March is the first month of Spring when the days are becoming much longer than the nights. Its also known as "March Many Weathers", I love how your face can be warmed by the sun one minute then a frosty misty night ensues to cast its magic over cobwebs.
March is the month we celebrate motherhood with Mothers Day, this year its early being the 14th March. We have a wonderful gift box specially designed to give all Mums, Grans and Nans a treat. Our A5 silver box is made from recycled card and is filled with recycled shredded paper, each box contains a "hello to spring" 75g travel soy candle and 30ml reed diffusers, a "mindful of calm" essential oil blend with aroma stone, a handy 3Step breathing exercise card and an information leaflet. We will gift wrap the box so its ready for you to give this Mothers Day, our box costs £23.50.
We celebrate the Spring Solstice on the 20th March, a wonderful time to enjoy nature waking up. Birds, bees, frogs and hedgehogs are getting busy, make sure you leave fresh water out. In the garden you will see dandelions, crocus and daffodils, they provide essential food for early bumblebees, please leave the dandelions to grow.....a weed is a flower/plant in the wrong place after all. Have you seen catkins in the hedgerow, these are a wonderful food source for insects.
Spring sees the launch of our new reed diffuser, "help me say hello to spring", made with organic essential oils of patchouli, rose geranium, pink grapefruit and lavender, we ve used a vegetable diffuser base oil. The scent will diffuse around your room helping to bring the fresh scent of spring into your home, they are packaged in a recycled card gift tube and make wonderful gifts. Every year we gather the candles that have missed our high standard, have a dint or the surface is uneven, and offer them at a much lower price. Every candle will burn okay and will scent your room but they have not made the grade. This year we thought we'd have some fun and create a "lucky dip" style sale. For £12 we will send you 3 x 150g soy candles (plus postage). We also have 75g soy candles, if we run out of 150g, we will add 2 lots to make up 150g. This sale will run until all stock has been cleared then our wonky candle shop will close until the next year!

Scent of the month
As this is the beginning of Spring, we wanted to talk about our spring blend. We have blended organic essential oils of Patchouli, Rose Geranium, Pink Grapefruit and Lavender.
Patchouli has a gorgeous warm, earthy fruity aroma and is excellent to help you feel relaxed, when blended with Rose Geranium and Lavender, the scent will help you feel happy, calm and grounded. To add that tough of Spring freshness, we have added Pink Grapefruit, packed full of energy, this fabulous oil lightens the blend.

We ve finally finished our new workshop which will make creating products, packing orders much easier from now on. When I'm working, my ipod sings my favourite songs, scents diffuse, I'm in my happy place.
We are having a little break from online markets and spending time working on a brand new product and gifts but I can't tell you about it yet, mum is definitely the word!
