As mindfulness practitioners, we know how important it is to release your mind and body from the constant battle with your thoughts.
Our wellness is most important for our physical and mental health. Being aware of how we feel is vital to taking steps to improve our health.
When you smile, our brain releases tiny molecules called neuropeptides, which help fight off stress, our brain also releases feel-good hormones, serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins, all from a simple natural honest smile. We have blended organic essential oils,
Sweet Orange - happy, uplifting, energising
Frankincense - relaxation, the feeling of peace, encourages a deep sense of calm, satisfaction
Rosemary - energising, a feeling of being uplifted and happy
Cedarwood - releases your happy hormone, serotonin
We have designed a gift box for you to give you to someone special who may be struggling, we have used our 30 years of holistic therapy experience to fill the box with products which will lift and enhance their mood and wellbeing.
We use the massage oil's organic carrier oils of Jojoba, Apricot Kernel and Grapeseed. All of the oils are easily absorbed by the skin, will leave a velvet feel without stickiness.
The Happy Balm is made with organic Illipe butter, Rosehip Butter, Berry Wax and Apricot Kernel Oil along with our “help me feel fresh as a daisy” essential oil blend as above. To use, simply apply a small amount to your chest so that you breathe the uplifting scent. You can add the balm to your pulse points too
Please always perform a patch test before use. We have included a wooden spatula to use with the balm. Store in a cool place, if the balm becomes runny, leave in the fridge for an hour.
How to use the box:
It all begins with acknowledging the importance of self-care, finding time every day to care for our body is vital to feeling happy.
Before you shower, body brush your skin in an upwards direction, this not only exfoliates the skin but increase your circulation, clearing toxins and delivering fresh nutritious blood.
Then enjoy a shower and apply your massage oil to rehydrate your skin.
Drink plenty of water and relax with a good book and enjoy the scent of our candle.
We have included two mindfulness meditations for you to use on the card included.
We love to spend time in nature, just being near water or woodland really helps to lower our shoulders. Have you tried Forest Bathing (or Shinrin-Yoku - Japanese for Forest Bathing)?
Sit with good posture. Place your feet shoulder-width apart. Make sure your knees are directly above your ankles. Roll your shoulders back then let them relax. Sit with a straight but relaxed spine. Gently lower your chin to elongate your neck. Place the tip of the tongue lightly against your hard palate. Take a few deep breaths to relax. Close your eyes and allow your breath to naturally settle.
Practice a “Five Senses Meditation”. Meditate on your senses one at a time. This is the best way of meditating on nature because it attunes your senses to the natural world.
What can you hear? maybe bird song or movement as they move from tree to tree. The rustle of leaves as they move on the breeze.
What can you see? The gentle movement of trees calms and soothes us as we become lost in the sway.
What can you smell? Earthy, pine scents will fill your nose and sinuses.
What can you touch? place your arms around the trunk of a tree and feel the life force energy.
What can you taste? slightly open your mouth and taste the air of the forest.
Touch the ground mindfully. Feel the sensation of the forest on your hands. Take a deep breath and visualise your worries being released.
The aim is to soak up nature, to immerse yourself in mother earth, to clean your mind of stress and to refresh your soul.
When you finish your meditation, take a moment to express gratitude for nature. Think of all the ways nature benefits you. Remember that you are always connected with nature.
If you decide to walk, do as Thich Nhat Hanh says and “Walk as though kissing the earth with your feet.”
