JUNE IS AROMATHERAPY AWARENESS MONTH!!

Helpmeorganics is an aromatherapy business so we are very excited to showcase the benefits of using organic aromatherapy in your everyday life.  There is an essential oil for everyone and anytime!

I have been an aromatherapist for a very long time, nearly 30 years when I think about it, but my passion has been strong from a small child, I love everything about plants so a career using aromatherapy was definitely on the cards.  Through my therapy business, I was treating a lady who had not managed to sleep for too long, she was really struggling. I made a blend for her massage and gave her the remaining oil to apply to your stomach before bed.  She returned a week later and her face looked so happy and relaxed. She told me that she had slept well from the very first night and could she buy some, please!  That blend became “help me, it’s way past my bedtime” and made us realise that we could help many others too. So I began to write down all the recipes that I had and still use, developed them.  The rest is history, Helpmeorganics was born.

How to use Essential Oils

fill big bowls of water and add 3-4 drops of your chosen aromatherapy blend. The natural warmth in the room gets the oils diffusing gently. If you struggle with Hayfever,  the water acts like a magnet, we recommend using “help me, I’m feeling under weather”. The combination of Teatree, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Lavender and Tangerine are excellent antibacterial headache  & sinus-clearing.

… if you have a diffuser, our oil blends are perfect. Being organic they are stronger, start with 1 drop and increase to find the strength you like. For the living room, we recommend “help me fresh as a daisy”. The blend of sweet orange, Frankincense,  rosemary and cedarwood creates a wonderfully fresh, happy scent.

…if you struggle to sleep, 1 drop of “help me, it’s way past my bedtime” blend on a tissue under your pillow, it will help relax you so that you enjoy a restful sleep. For young children, place the tissue under their bed so it’s softer.

… our room sprays are excellent to give an instant burst of fragrance to any room. If you practice mindfulness, yoga or meditation, spray one or twice around your space to help get you focused, we love using “help me have a mindful of calm” , the blend of frankincense, Geranium and Lavender are very therapeutic.
…..keep a room spray in your car , one burst after a tough day will help relax you on your drive home. We ve found “help me, apparently I need to chill out” very soothing but not sleep-inducing as we ve blended spicy palmarosa with geranium,  ylang ylang and lavender.

….if you love cooking, try burning our soy candle “help me they say exercise is good for you”. The combination of juniperberry, sweet marjoram, Pine,  lavender and lemon helps deodorise and refresh your kitchen and dining room with a fresh herbal scent.
….. summer is all about being,  eating or entertaining outside. Our summer candle is the perfect partner. Blended with rose geranium, pink grapefruit, lavender and sage, hand-poured in a hand-thrown clay pot, the scent will drift around your garden.

Organic Aromatherapy Benefits:

Plants are grown without pesticides, which means no harmful chemicals are transferred to you

Grown with full respect and care for soil and wildlife

Harvested early in the morning so volatile oils are at their best

Oils are stronger: you need less oil in your chosen medium

Massage Oils

Benefits of including massage oils in your daily life
…organic oils are richer in vitamins and minerals, contain no pesticides and have been grown in harmony with nature.
…applying a body oil after your bath/shower keeps your skin supple
…the benefits of massage are numerous, I am a holistic therapist and use our oils in my treatments. You can massage yourself. Try massaging your abdomen in a clockwise direction before bed. Your stomach is your center and helps to release emotion, tension, congestion in your bowel. Abdominal massage is very soothing during PMT or menstrual pain.

We have produced 10ml samples if you are worried, please email us…contact@helpmeorganics.com…and we will send you one. For nut allergies, although we have tried to choose hypoallergic carrier oils , we cannot be 100% sure that they were manufactured in a nut free environment. Again we are happy to send you a sample for you to perform a safe skin test.

OUR SUMMER SCENT LAUNCH!

June is a very summery month.  We celebrate the summer solstice on June 20th, the longest day of the year!!  How will you celebrate? We would love to hear from you.  Stonehenge is a place that I would love to visit for the summer solstice and this year you can watch it “virtually” through Facebook on Saturday 20th June at 20.30, we are definitely doing this.

On June 1st we are launching our summer candle, “help me say hello to summer”. This year we have blended Rose geranium, Lavender, Pink Grapefruit and Sage with soy wax which has been poured into clay pots for the perfect accompaniment to al fresco dining.  Once you have enjoyed every last bit of our summer candle, you can reuse as a tealight holder. As the clay pots of hand-thrown, each one is slightly different but they contain 150g of wax, the cost being £12. They make wonderful gifts for the summer solstice too!!

News from the Salon

  • We are open again which has made us happy! We have decided to dispatch our orders once a week on a Wednesday to reduce our trips to the post office but we will review this as we get busier.

  • Please keep reusing, recycling and repurposing our packaging, one nice thing that has come out of this horrible virus is the transformation of our planet. The huge hole above the Arctic has healed and closed, global emissions are down by 17%. The sky is bluer, seas, rivers and canals are cleaner. How lovely that you can see fish in the water through Venice! The birdsong louder and my favourite, you can see the night sky, stars and moon much clearer too.  We must keep this going, in such a short time, nature is improving.  So let us all do our own bit and put pressure on the “powers that be” that we want to keep improving.  Why cant the Uk be plastic-free?  Why cant the UK make it law to fit filters on every washing machine? Why can’t we ban the use of pesticides, chemicals and other harmful pollutants?

  • Claire is very busy putting together our new website, hopefully, it will be up and running very soon.
