The base for the balm is 100% palm oil free, vegan and organic. We have blended apricot kernel oil with illipe butter, rosehip butter and berry wax to create a balm which is easily absorbed by your skin.
Illipe butter comes from the shorea stenoptera tree, packed full of antioxidants, this butter has rich moisturising properties.
Rosehip butter comes from the hips of the native rose plant, is very hydrating and repairs your skin.
Berry wax is a fruit wax from the berries of the Rhus Verniciflua tree. Is it a gentle wax, ideal for sensitive skins and is non-comedogenic (will not clog the skin)
Apricot Kernel Oil has many benefits for your skin, this is why we include it in our massage oils aswell as not balms. Packed full of anti inflammatory properties, apricot kernel oil. It is safe for anyone with nut allergies and is a light oil that your skin absorbs easily.
How to use - simply apply a small amount using the wooden spatula, to your pulse points, or chest area, cuticles and feet. We would recommend performing a pqtch test before use, if you would like a small sample to try, please let me know.

And finally :
October is a beautiful month, full of colour. Try to get out for walks as much as possible, its good for your mood, improves your fitness, clears your head and helps you to feel happy
This week (1st to 8th) is National Vegetarian Week. Eating a plant based diet has been proven to increase our wellbeing and is also kind for our planet, try and go one step further and eat organically grown and processed food. Batch cook and freeze as much as possible.
October 5th is also National Badger Day. I love badgers, they are having a terrible time with this unlawful cull that must stop. If you want to help, please send Steve Reed an email demanding him to put a stop to this and any future culls, have a look at the Badger Trusts website to see how you can help. I am lucky to have badgers visit my garden every evening, they are the best creation and deserve to live a long happy life.
With Halloween happening at the end of the month, I know that everyone that reads this blog agrees that decorating your home with these false webs is dreadful, but please try and convince your neighbours not to add it to hedges and trees.
